Ben Burrell Visuals

Hi, I’m Ben Burrell. I’m a photographer, videographer, and FAA-certified drone pilot from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. I’m currently studying Professional Photography and Photojournalism at Penn State University, where I work as a Multimedia Specialist for Penn State Athletics.

 

I cover a wide range of Division I sports, photographing for Penn State’s athletic programs. Outside of athletics, I’m a videographer for Movin’ On, the Student Programming Association (SPA), and THON, documenting some of the largest student-run events on campus. I also serve as a lead videographer for the Student Videography Association (SVA), where I help direct and produce creative video projects with other student creators.

 

Before coming to Penn State, I interned with the Press Enterprise, where I developed my photojournalism and storytelling skills. I also spent the summer of 2025 at Knoebels Amusement Resort, where I created marketing content, led social media campaigns, and helped with the park’s 100th anniversary rebranding.

 

Through Ben Burrell Visuals, I focus on capturing the emotion, energy, and atmosphere that make sports so powerful. My work has been exhibited multiple times and recognized for its storytelling and creativity. I’m always looking for angles that no one has seen before, whether that means shooting from the sidelines or up in the stands.

 

At the end of the day, I love creatively showing the emotion behind every play and the moments that make sports unforgettable.
